Topsoil

Topsoil is an integral portion of the landscaping in your yard.  We have always used screened topsoil which helps ensure good plant and sod growth for many years.  The thickness of your topsoil layer will also help in the health of your yard.  We strive to use 6” as this allows the roots of trees, shrubs and sod to get more of the nutrients out of the soil.  This will allow the plants to establish stronger root systems which will help them take in the water they need to stay healthy and vibrant.

Woodchip Mulch

Woodchip mulch is beneficial in shrub beds. It will hold moisture for the plants which reduces the frequency of watering required, therefore reducing the amount of maintenance in the yard.

Rock

Rock looks clean and tidy in yards.  Using a leaf blower, leaf litter can be removed from beds helping the rocks maintain their clean, crisp appearance.
